yes this was a fresh install. I was trying to partition the hd. when I had power outage.And i DIDN&#039;T have the battery in.so the laptop crashed.now i can&#039;t do anything with the drive.Have you got any  words of wisdom about recoering the drive.brand new drive.how do i go about partitioning the drive.

    I was installing Fedora 10 on a new hitachi 320gb drive in my laptop.  In the middle of partitioning the new drive when we had power  surge.power went  off and came back on10 seconds later .But it was too late. I diud not have the battery
 in the laptop at the time. Can&#039;t see or read the drive .Can you tell me what I can
 do to recover the drive.I wanted to duel boot the drive. But i&#039;ll be happy just to save it.
